As students of one of the top universities in the nation, Michigan State, we strive for excellence in all fields. Our blog is focused on medicine, and the many aspects of it. Of course, it would be nearly impossible to cover all there is to explore in medicine so our blog is keyed in on what we like and would like to know best! From disease prevention, treatment and cure through nutrition, to dental health, movement science and nursing, we will be posting on an array of topics in our field.
Diajah Williams
My name is Diajah and I am pursuing a degree in Nutritional Sciences on a premedical track. Through my first year in college, I have spent a lot of time discovering who I am as a person, a student and more specifically, a writer.
As a person and a student, I am one in the same. I am a righteous, introspective individual with a vigorous passion for learning (especially medicine). I am always analyzing my failures to learn from them, build character and further my maturation process.
As far as who I am as a writer, it is similar to me as a person: a student, a learner, an individual whose heart is set on touching the lives of others, even when it is only through text. I write with passion and an enthusiasm to learn how to better myself as a writer.

My main goal as an author of this blog is to give others a feel of where I am coming from and to open up those who may be more closed minded. Taking a look into the world of medicine can be a daunting task, but with careful projection and concise clarity of the topics presented, I believe my audience will come to see the wonders that I see and hopefully better themselves just as I do everyday in medical knowledge. I plan to be detailed and in depth in my posts, hoping to engage, persuade and inform my audience on what matters most to me- medicine!
Bradley Robinson
Actor Shawn Ashmore says, “Style is a reflection of your attitude and your personality.” My name is Bradley Robinson I personally see this quote with meanings beyond the style of just oneself. As a writer I struggle to define my style, I have never been interested in writing. Yet I can say that I have enjoyed certain projects and writing assignments in the past. My interest in writing reflects on what I like to read, I really enjoy realistic fiction and sci-fi. So if I get the chance to write pieces like that, those are the ones I really enjoy writing and not be able to stop. Then there are the other genres, the research papers and response essays that I struggle to get started with due to the fact that I do not enjoy them. In conclusion I do enjoy writing, but it all depends on what I am writing.
My attitude, personality and writing most definitely reflect my style. When I am around people I try to bring joy and by myself I work hard and strive for greatness. It all depends on my environment. Therefore I believe my style is ever changing and a reflection of the world around me.
Jake Hardin
My name is Jake Hardin and I will start of by saying as a person, I am one who will always put family and friends before anything else. Without those people in my life I really wouldn’t have anything to strive for. I try to do my very best in everything I do, not just for myself, but to prove to my parents and peers that I have ambitions to move on to bigger and better things in the future.
I’ve never been the guy in school who studies his tail off day in and day out, but regardless of my study habits, I have always been a pretty good student. My hopes for the end of this semester is to make the Dean’s list and to continue to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I have aspirations of applying to dental school as a grad student, in hopes of becoming an oral surgeon, but as of now I am trying to get into the Broad College of Business. As a Freshman, I still have some time to think about what career choice I really want, but at this point in time these are my mains goals as a student.
My style of writing could be best described as unpredictable because the way I write all depends on the mood I am in as well as my surroundings. I am not the most experienced writer when it comes to blogs and showing my work to large audiences, which is why I am looking forward in being part of this group blog project. My goal as one of the co-authors of this blog is to display my passion for the field of Dentistry and the specific things that spark this interest. As our blog continues to grow, I am hoping to enhance my writing abilities as well as learn new things each day.
