Michigan State University Kinesiology Degree- Bradley Robinson

When people ask me what my major currently is I respond with Kinesiology. Most of the time I get a puzzled look back because most people have no idea what kinesiology is. This blog will talk briefly talk about a Kinesiology degree at MSU and what a degree in movement science can get you.

MSU offers:
Approximately 1000 undergraduate Kinesiology majors
Approximately 170 undergraduate Athletic Training majors
Approximately 60 master's degree students
Approximately 44 doctoral degree students

It is a very popular major here at MSU and allows many career or graduate options.
The department’s goals at MSU are focused towards PE, physical training, and exercise science. Most students go and pursue graduate degrees in specified fields after their undergrad.

The main standard of MSU’s kinesiology department is to help educate and lead healthy lives.

After seeing all these careers, a Kinesiology degree is actually more known than people would think.

  1. this blog post is very helpful because i like how it simply states the different career paths post college degree. more particularly i like how you relate it to MSU specifically. i thought about a kinesiology degree as well and reading this helps me think more about it.

  2. I really liked this post because I also didn't really know what Kinesiology was or what jobs came from it. Later in the post, you gave me exactly what I was looking for, the jobs that came from Kinesiology.
